Opinions will vary of course, but I think that is an answer to your question.I don't know about that and that's beside the point, but I will keep tweaking. I think if you have a particular taste for FFB, there are plenty of tweaks available to make it closer to what you prefer. Opinions will vary of course, but I think that is an answer to your question. Talk about the games achievements and set up Gaming Sessions to earn them. Not trying to put DR down, but it is based on an old game engine and although it's the best Rally game we've had for a while I think how PC2 handles loose surface driving is way ahead. Got questions about DiRT 4 Come and discuss them on the official game forum. I do like the way DR does the effect of the front suspension loading and unloading as it goes over bumps, but overall I can't see how PC2 can look to emulate DR with tyre physics and FFB as it is already a generation ahead of Codies' work. No idea how it plays with a controller, I've got a full sim setup going on. It's got a lot of stuff that was left out of Rally and an arcade handling mode that's less punishing. If you didn't like Dirt Rally you'll probably like Dirt 4. I think Dirt Rally is a great game, but I find Codemasters work feels more like playing a videogame rather than driving a car. PubBurgers wrote: If you liked Dirt Rally you'll love Dirt 4. Certainly compared to driving real cars on loose surfaces I find PC2 much closer to the experience of how the car behaves. It's right there for anyone to see, just visit the following website and filter by Xbox under "advanced filters".I always found Dirt Rally to be a bit simplistic in its loose surface physics, I think there is much more going on with the tyre model in PC2 when you really concentrate on what's happening. Not really a useful response given that I mentioned that Playstation and Steam platforms have lots of community events listed on their own community events web page for Dirt 4 but the Xbox has no events. I asked Codemasters support when or if this will ever be fixed for Xbox but just got a generic response about checking their twitter feeds, checking for Xbox live issues, etc. Don't want to refund as I really like the game but without even being able compare my times against others from inside the game just feels like a fundamental part of the game is missing. If anything, I thought that the leader boards would be nicely populated by now seeing as the game has been out a while. Never occurred to me to do research before buying Dirt 4 last month, just assumed basic stuff like leader boards would work. Was looking forward to climbing up the leader boards, taking part in the daily, weekly, monthly community challenges. Just get constant messages about not being able to connect to Racenet and to try again later! No online functionality whatsoever on Xbox □. It seems to still be working on PlayStation. Still nothing happening with an official announcement about the discontinuation of the RaceNet service on Xbox, if that's what's actually happened. If you care that little about the achievement hunters amongst the fans of your game that you can't even be bothered to put out a statement confirming the ending of RaceNet on Xbox platforms, you should really be ashamed of yourself. Well, despite them clearly not being fussed about what i say, i think they're a ******* disgrace, they've cut a portion of what has been paid for in their game for no obvious reason to the outsider other than laziness, and then rubbed it in our faces by having it still working on Sony's platform. Frankly, someone should be embarrassed by how this has played out but it clearly looks like no-one at either Codies or EA gives the slightest toss. When there's seven achievements which rely on RaceNet functionality then this is pretty shoddy stuff, especially for a game which is available on Game Pass via, lest we forget, Codemasters' parent company Electronic Arts' EA Play. Still nothing happening with an official announcement about the discontinuation of the RaceNet service on Xbox, if that's what's actually happened.
